Floating Apple Votives
2 bags of small, cheap apples from the grocer
20 tea lights
Large galvanized bucket to float votives in
Small paring knife
Permanent marker
Fill up the bucket with water. Float each apple in it, marking which part is `up´ in order to cut the apple in a fashion that it will not be top-heavy.
At the `top´ of the apple, cut out an area big enough to slip the tea light in tightly.
Continue on with each apple. Float and light. Enjoy.
