Medium sized stick

-Melt wax in the double boiler to no more than 150°

-Dip 8 inch lengths of wick into the wax to stiffen

-Place the wicks on wax paper to dry

-Re-melt beeswax. Poke the end of the stick into a bank of hard packed snow creating several 6 inch holes

-Dangle wicks into the holes and fill with melted wax (using oven mitt)

-Wait for wax to harden then remove snow from around candle
The sculptor produces the beautiful statue by chipping away such parts of
the marble block as are not needed - it is a process of elimination.
