A Moment In Time
A moment In time
flashes past my eyes
so quick I cannot grab a hold

I was just told that
I was expecting you
now look at you grow

A moment in time
passes with out a thought
It seems as if it was only
yesterday, that I held you
for the very time,
so small and perfect you were

You learn to crawl
then walk, then run
you become a little person

A moment in time
has gushed right by
you are no longer
that sweet baby
I sang to each night.

Your little eyes
take in so much
you seem to learn
something new each day

A moment in time
is all I need to each day
to love and cherish you
my sweet child

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
