2 c. flour
1 c. salt
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. mineral oil
food coloring
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until stiff. Allow to cool; knead. Makes 3 cups.
Don't attribute to malice that which can be readily explained by stupidity.
Slocum's Razor
Keep paintbrush bristles from bending while soaking in solvent. Put solvent in an empty coffee can, cut an X in the plastic lid, and push the brush handle up through the slit so the brush hangs in the can rather than resting on its bristles.
