Hang about 4 pieces of dark thread from the porch rafters over the entrance of your front door so they dangle to within 3 feet of the ground where Trick or Treaters will walk into them. The threads will be invisible in the dark, the effect is bound to elicit comments like "Eeew, a spider web."
