Low-Anchored Cloud
Low-anchored cloud,
Newfoundland air,
Fountain-head and source of rivers,
Dew-cloth, dream-drapery,
And napkin spread by fays;
Drifting meadow of the air,
Where bloom the daisied banks and violets,
And in whose fenny labyrinth
The bittern booms and heron wades;
Spirit of lakes and seas and rivers,
Bear only perfumes and the scent
Of healing herbs to just men's fields!

by Henry David Thoreau
"If a man does not keep  pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he
hears a different  drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however
measured or far  away." - Henry Thoreau (1817-1862)
Wine grapes, oranges, figs and olives were first planted in North America by Father Junipero Sera in 1769.
