MY MARVELOUS APPLE TREE
My apple tree is gorgeous,
The prettiest ever seen,
In May its blossoms gleam white,
With its leaves so glowing green.
Its flowers are so lovely,
Its fruit sweet, juicy, and red,
I love my wonderous fruit tree,
I can see it from my bed.
My window's close above it,
Each May I wait with longing,
For the miracle that comes,
That  sends snow flowers thronging.
Apple blossoms sing a song,
For our eyes and not our ears,
Silent, gentle, ever so young,
Nature quiets all our fears.
How I love those wonderous blooms,
Sign of spring that never fails,
Tree of beauty, grace and strength,
That survives the winter's gales.
Birds will sing and fly and nest,
Take some fruit and sing for joy,
In their songs they praise all things,
Men and women, girls and boys.

OLIVIA FERRANTE
It is just as necessary to forgive ourselves as it is to forgive others, and the principal reason why forgiveness seemes so difficult is because we have neglected to forgive ourselves.
Christian D. Larson
The term "as American as apple pie" traces back to 14th century England. The Pilgrims brought their pie-making skills, along with the apple seeds to America. As the popularity of apple pie spread throughout the nation, the phrase grew to symbolize American prosperity.
