HOW TO PICK A WATERMELON
Choose a firm, symmetrical melon free of bruises, cuts, dents. Pick it up: The melon should be heavy for its size. Turn it over: The melon should have a creamy yellow spot on the underside where it sat on the ground and ripened in the sun.
