My Solemn Prayer
Here is another poem
by my good friend Len
I prayed to the Master, for Wisdom Divine.
He said understanding, will open your mind.

The key you have with you, is all faith, trust, and love.
In your inner self, and your God above.

The Golden Rule, our Maker bestowed.
On all of His children, has always been told.

Your own mind is your business, and should be first hand.
If you can control it, then, you've mastered God's plan.

May peace and contentment, be your constant companion.

"As long as you live, keep learning how to live."
- Seneca
"Big cheese" and "big wheel" are Medieval terms of envious respect for those who could afford to buy whole wheels of cheese at a time, an expense few could enjoy. Both these terms are often used sarcastically today.
