Use a grapevine wreath and wire. Cut the lavender in bunches about 3-6 inches in length... depending on the size of the wreath..

Start by laying bunches around the wreath, wiring them on as you go.
Cover the wired area with the next round of bunches. Try to cover the width of the wreath top.

Keep flowers going in the same direction. Make sure to cover up the wire with heads of new bunches. Then add a bow from tulle, ribbon or raffia. Use the small piece of wire to make a hanging loop on the back.

I saw another way was to use a straw wreath and add the lavender the
same way, using wire "hairpins" or U-pins to attach the lavender to the
straw. Because these wreaths are bigger around, you need to add lavender to the outer and inner edges. Again, make sure the lavender bunches are all going in the same direction.

Use freshly picked lavender since it is more flexible and won't break like dried lavender.....
Lavender Wreaths...
